Todays Thought

It is not important the color of a man's skin
What is important, is that he is comfortable in it.

As a black female who grew up in the military I can tell you that it took me a long time to "get comfortable" in my skin. But once I was the world opened up in a wonderfully beautiful way.

Wonderful quote. I liked the name of your blog on Blogs of Note (Congrats!) so decided to visit. Anyone who offers Paul Simon on their playlist is tops in my view!

I've always wondered.....does Blogger notify you when they select you as a Blog of Note?

I think you're wonderful. (:

You have no idea what this quote really means to me and my life, and my past struggle. I'm getting more comfortable in my own skin now. (:

You see, my tanned skin color looks nothing like the pale skin I was born with. People are always surprised that I am Chinese.

Afterall what matters is the colour of heart.

Not the colour of the skin
