last night we left Torshavn and had set sail for Reykjavik, Iceland.
This morning we woke up to some rough seas. It was a rainy and dreary day and their were white caps on the water. The ocean was rough and the swells were approximately 7-12 feet.
Throughout the course of the day, we found assorted activities to keep us busy.
Veronica and I saw a vegetable and fruit carving demonstration, which was really good.
We then watch an animal towel folding demonstration...not so good plus the rough seas made for a tough ride on the Observation Deck which is one of the higher decks on the NCL Sun.
Then we had to go to one of the main dining rooms and turn in our passports for almost all of the remainder of the cruise.
We then went back to the room to take a nap.
After getting up from our nap, we went to do a trivia game activity.
The signature that we received after completing this activity filled up our activity card/slip of paper, with the 20 signatures that each card/slip of paper needed in order to redeem for prizes/gifts at the end of the cruise.
Veronica and I then went to see a show at the Stardust theater called Shout- The Mod Musical. We were both disappointed in this show...it just wasn't very good.
After the show, Veronica and I went to have a last dinner.
After dinner we returned to our cabin and got everything together for tomorrows adventure in Reykjavik...an excursion called Iceland Through The Camera Lens.
Vegetable and fruit carving demonstration. The place was filled with observers and they had to show the taping of this demonstration on a big screen. The two Chefs that were teaching this demonstration were really good and they were funny too. Kudos to both of them.
Most of the carvings were shown at the Garden Cafe buffet restaurant for the dinner meal
Just goofing around...decided to try porthole photos
