Even though we did not care for that style of travel, it did not stop me from taking loads of photographs.
This morning our flight arrived early into Amsterdam and we were picked up and driven to where the Avalon Felicity was docked. We took a tour that included seeing several windmills and had a chance to walk around the area of where the ship was docked.
Here are a few pics of our cabin on the Avalon Felicity and of the ship itself
River cruise ships docked side by side
Amsterdam Train Station
Bicycle parking lot. They had lots of these. We were told that Amsterdam has more bikes than actual people in Amsterdam
We spent the night aboard the Avalong Felicity and stayed overnight docked in Amsterdam. The next morning we went on a boat tour of the canals in Amsterdam. Below are photos taken while we were on a canal tour in Amsterdam
After the boat ride/canals tourwe had a walking tour of Amsterdam. Below are photos that I took while on a walking tour of Amsterdam
On our way out of Amsterdam and heading to Cologne via the Rhine River

Below is where we took a break and got ourselves something to drink and eat. I had a pretzel.
We are preparing to leave Cologne. Below is another river cruise ship leaving before us. Also shown is a train crossing a bridge and the Cologne Cathedral can partially be seen in the middle left of the photo
Here is a view of the city of Cologne and the Cologne Cathedral at night as we are leaving.
