Veronique Is Returning Home
Veronica picked up my piece of art from the Glenn Eure Ghost Fleet Gallery this afternoon. I was planning on picking her up myself but I was up in Virginia Beach helping my Dad out. While she was packing up Veronique from the gallery a lady that was working there said that there had been a person interested in buying Veronique for 1 thousand dollars.Veronica knew what my answer would have been had I had been there and was offered this amount directly. So with Veronique in hand Veronica made her way to the exit so that Veronique would be in her rightful spot at home. Although Veronique did not win a ribbon in the 37th Annual Frank Stick Memorial Art Show, it felt good to know that someone appreciated my artwork enough to offer a thousand dollars for it. Kind of cool indeed.
The Results Of My Entry Into The 37th Annual Frank Stick Art Show
Last night Veronica and I stopped by Glenn Eure's Ghost Fleet Gallery in Gallery Row to see all of the entries and ribbon winners in this the 37th Annual Frank Stick Art Show. Unfortunately my entry did not win a ribbon. There were some really cool pieces of art entered into the contest/show. Although I did not win a ribbon, I am very proud and pleased with the way my entry Veronique turned out. I will try harder in the next show that I enter.
Here is a photo that was in the Outer Banks Voice showing my entry be moved around for the presentation at the show.
